Medical Conditions Cerebral Palsy (non ambulatory).
Allergies/Special Needs Robert Jay is 10 years old. He has dyskinetic cerebral palsy. He has difficulty controlling his movements and when he tries to stop these abnormal movements it often makes things worse. He needs help in many different ways including feeding, washing dressing and toileting. He understands a lot however and can speak slowly and also users a special computer which speaks for him. He gets frustrated when people can’t understand what he is trying to communicate.
Medications He takes a medication called baclofen which helps relax his muscles and help with his movements. He is also currently taking Despipramine

Special Notes: Robert has a great laugh and is always smirking. He enjoys being around people. He had developed a special bond with his last foster parents. They taught him how to speak a bit of Spanish although he already understands it quite well.
