| Allergies/Special Needs | For the first 2 weeks Cory was extremely irritable. He slept poorly. He
had tremors especially when he was picked up or handled. He tended to sweat
a lot and breathe very fast and had a stuffy nose. He had great difficulty
feeding and didn’t suck very well. He was commenced on opiates in hospital to alleviate his symptoms which were due to the withdrawal from the Methadone. This was weaned before discharge. His carers need to monitor his feed as he was quite small when he was born and still has some difficulty feeding. Care-givers must watch for weight gain. Cory should be weighed once a week. |
| Medications | On Methadone |
| Family Doctor | just released from hospital- needs constant supervision |
| Special Notes: | Cory needs a lot of special attention. He is easily over stimulated and needs a calm environment. |
